The Unitrends Solution includes 3 key components:
- BareMetal - A block-level backup of your systems,
allowing rapid recovery from a total system failure
- D2D - Provides disk-to-disk, high-speed data backup and
recovery
- Vaulting - Off-site electronic vaulting and automated systems
recovery
- Baseline Imaging - BareMetal your critical
servers and workstations to provide a base image for
rebuilding the systems. Re-image systems after major
updates.
- Daily Backup - a rotation of full and
incremental backups, stored on the local Data Protection
Unit (DPU). A rotation window is established
(typically 30-day recovery window), and old backup
images are rotated off.
- Archiving - you can archive data to hot
pluggable drives for long term retention.
- Vaulting - you can maintain a Disaster
Recovery Image for your critical systems at a Data
Protection Vault (DPV). ANS is a Unitrends
Vaulting Partner and can provide this service.
